Wishbone Waters is located 2.5 km north of the N2 in the Redford farming area of The Crags, between Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley. Fully equipped cottage-style self-catering accommodation consists of Little Wish, a 2-bedroomed cottage on the main farm, and Second Wish, a 4-bedroomed farmhouse on a closely adjacent farm. Magnificent views of the Tsitsikamma mountains can be enjoyed from each of the verandahs, where braai facilities are available. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the swimming-pool and entertainment room near the main farmhouse, as well as the boma which overlooks a pretty dam. There is an indigenous nursery on the main farm, and Cape gooseberries are produced just about year-round.
Walking, cycling and birdwatching are popular activities. Many of the local farms are affiliated to the Redford Conservancy, and ascribe to recommended nature conservation principles.
Tourist attractions within 5-7km include: Birds of Eden, Tenikwa, Monkeyland, the Elephant Sanctuary, Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary, Africanyon adventure abseiling, Nature’s Way Farm Stall and many more. There is a Wine Route in the immediate area as well, with four of the estates within 3km of Wishbone Waters, some open for wine-tasting and delicious meals. Other local farming activities include honeybush tea and macadamia nuts, as well as cattle and horses.

The closest beaches are at Nature’s Valley and Keurboomstrand, each approximately 15 minutes’ scenic drive from The Crags. Plettenberg Bay itself is 22km from the farm, and has beaches, golf courses and plenty of options for shopping. Deep-sea fishing and whale-watching excursions are also available. Knysna is about 45 minutes drive from The Crags, as is Stormsriver and the Tsitsikamma National Park with its pristine Marine Protected Area.
